Grand Lager Export Strength

Grand Lager 5.6%

Export strength, can-conditioned, and available in 33cl cans. With a persistent, creamy head & a perfect balance of bitterness and malt sweetness, this Grand Lager is our first lager brew – but it won’t be the last.

We plan to brew a wide range of lager styles – this one is our first, and it’s in the Dortmunder Export tradition.

It’s stronger than a northern German lager, and slightly deeper in colour and malt flavour. There’s certainly enough bitterness to balance the malt sweetness, but it’s not an overly bitter beer, so it’s pretty easy to drink. The hops don’t dominate the malt, and the malt doesn’t dominate the hops, so you get both hops and malt there in the flavour as you drink it on down.
