There’s been no local Maibock in Luxembourg for over a decade – not since the Redange brewery closed its doors.
But it’s the perfect beer for a Luxembourg summer! Malty and rich (but not caramelly), with a clean, grainy, slightly toasted malt character. Packing a 7.1% ABV punch (but not in a “hot” way), and light on both hop aroma & bitterness. Bright, clear beer – thanks to a six-week conditioning period – with a large, creamy, persistent head. Yum!
